The Loyalty Fund

A Fountain of Support for Peace College

The Loyalty Fund is Peace College’s annual fund and is mostly unrestricted money that the College receives from donors each year to supplement the operating budget. The Loyalty Fund fills the gap between tuition/endowment income and operating expenses and can aptly be described as the fountain of support for the campus!

The overall campaign goal for The Loyalty Fund stands at $3 million, which represents an accumulated total from 2005-2010. Not only do we wish to meet this goal, we seek to exceed it with your help! To do that, we need giving participation from many more alumnae—*currently, fewer than one out of five alumnae give to the College’s annual fund.*

Peace College’s alumnae and friends are loyal and want to see the College grow and prosper. Individuals, foundations and corporations consider giving participation rates when they award grants. While the average alumnae giving participation rate for all women’s institutions is 30%, Peace had an alumnae participation rate of 17% last year (2008). We are calling on Peace’s alumnae to translate their devotion to Peace into financial support. Every dollar given to The Loyalty Fund goes directly to support the College, its programs and students in order to help defray operating expenses.
