envisioned a college in Raleigh whose sole purpose
was to educate and empower young women. Almost
150 years later, the mighty columns of Main
stand as a testament to the extraordinary accomplishments
of the thousands of women who have realized

and builds leadership skills needed to achieve

Throughout history, Peace has benefited enormously
form the courageous leadership of members of
the Board of Trustees, the Peace College of
Raleigh Foundation, other board volunteers and
friends. Their continuous support and guidance

Sesquicentennial year, we gaze back at where
