25 Ways You Can Connect With Peace College

Alumnae often say they want to do something to help Peace College, but aren't always sure how they can make meaningful contributions.

Well, there are many, many ways you can help! Below is a list of "25 Ways You Can Connect With Peace College," which provides 25 ways that alumnae, parents, and friends can help advance the mission of Peace College through your time, experience, and/or resources.

Some of these ideas require very little time or effort, but can bring tremendous benefit to our alma mater. You can make a difference right now! Take a look at the list and see how you can help Peace College!

1. Make an annual gift to The Loyalty Fund. (Every gift, regardless of size, helps.)
2. Recruit future Peace girls by encouraging a prospective student to check out your alma mater.
3. Serve as a Class Committee member.
4. Mentor current students. Participate in Alumnae Career Networking Forums.
5. Support Peace College athletics. Attend and cheer loudly at games!
6. Attend a Peace College event in your area, and take a fellow Peace alumna with you.
7. Host a Peace College event. (Events include alumnae gatherings, book clubs and Insider Breakfasts.)
8. Update your mailing address, e-mail address, job information, birth of children, etc. by visiting the Alumnae Web site or calling (800) Peace-47.
9. Nominate "Outstanding Peace College Alumnae" for awards.
10. Stay educated about Peace; share what you know with others.
11. Reconnect with classmates, by using the Alumnae Directory; call them and reminisce on your days at Peace.
12. Visit campus and have your picture taken with our new statue of founder, William Peace.
13. Wear Peace clothing and/or display Peace memorabilia at home and at work.
14. Be sure your local high school is well informed about Peace College. Offer to host perspective student events in your hometown.
15. Subscribe to @Peace, Peace's electronic newsletter by sending the College your current email address.
16. Help the Alumnae Affairs Office locate "Lost" alumnae. Encourage alumnae to keep records up to date.
17. Identify potential College donors for scholarships, endowments, and naming opportunities.
18. Recruit five new Loyalty Fund donors.
19. Participate in the Alumnae Brick Campaign.
20. Identify future leaders for the Alumnae Board and other volunteer boards/councils.
21. Attend and promote the Manning Chamber Music Series.
22. Remember Peace College in your will or estate plan.
23. Read the Peace Magazine, and share it with a friend when finished.

25. Encourage friends and classmates to attend Alumnae Weekend.
